wouldn't the death penalty be fueling the flames? i mean these men would love nothing more than to be killed by our government so that they can die as martyrs and encourage another group of men to only repeat their atrocities, i feel that life in a small 4*4 jail cell would be much appropriate for these men and crush their ideals in the same breath
